Centriq Training

Kansas City, MO

DESCRIPTION

Before the lease of their current location had ended, Centriq Training engaged Benson Method to assist in the remodel of a much needed larger space in order to accommodate growth. The new location and former home for Everest College, is a unique building with over 45,000 SF, offering an increase in high-tech classrooms, parking and multiple student lounges.

Modern elements such as furniture, wood details and a living wall were incorporated enhancing existing architectural details. The design of a new check-in desk and reception area boasts an information wall highlighting Centriq’s core values. In addition, a new lunch bar was added, carpet was replaced and new paint was added in classrooms. The large student lounge and break area incorporated the use of unique light fixtures with acoustical properties. Special care was taken throughout the design of entire space to utilize a color scheme reflecting their brand.

The newly remodeled three-story building offers 21 dedicated classrooms, two large seminar rooms and digital remote labs for corporate students. It also features dedicated event spaces equipped with quartz countertops and usable wet bars, an updated seven-station testing center and other amenities to encourage interaction between Centriq and the Kansas City tech-community.
